Dr. Angela Martyn, B.Sc, DVM
Dr. Angela Martyn obtained her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Prince Edward Island and the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), in 2004.
She grew up in Corner Brook Newfoundland and upon graduation from AVC, she returned to her home town to work at the Animal Health Centre. In December 2007, she became the practice owner.
She currently resides in Corner Brook with her husband Sean and their three children. They share their home with a boxer named Brin, a shih tzu named Skittles, a hedgehog named Trevor, and their two cats (a Cornish Rex named Jaw-wa, a Sphinx named Benjamin) help keep their home life interesting.
Dr. Martyn enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine, and believes that preventative care is the key to a long, healthy and happy life for our animal companions. She has special interest in the areas of Ultrasonography, Ophthalmology and Cardiology. She is dedicated to continuing education and advancements in veterinary medicine.
She likes to spend her downtime with her family, preferably outside - camping, ski-dooing or on the lake. She also loves sports and is active in several community sports programs such as Softball, Volleyball and Swimming.
