​Animal Health Centre offers an extensive list of surgical and dental procedures, both routine and specialized.  Our doctors and support staff complete continuing education courses regularly to keep up to date on the newest procedures that minimize pain and post-operative recovery time.  We want our patients to be able to get back to their regular lives and play as soon as is safely possible.

​While at the clinic for surgery, you can be assured that your pet is receiving the best care possible.  Our kennels are cozy, with comfy sleeping pads and warm blankets.  Your pet will receive many cuddles throughout the day, just like they would if they were at home...that's one of the perks of our job! ​

​We also make sure that your four-legged friend is comfortable and pain free. Healing occurs much faster with good pain control. We monitor our patients very closely to ensure they are recovering as comfortable as possible. We use a wide array of pain control methods including non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, local blocks, opiods, slow release pain patches, laser therapy, and of course cuddles and reassuring words of encouragement.  Rest assured that your pet's post surgical pain is attacked in the best way possible - from all angles using a multi-modal approach.  ​
