Dr. Maureen Osmond, B.Sc, DVM
Dr. Maureen Osmond received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Prince Edward Island in 1998. She later received her Doctor of Veterinary medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2004.
Originally from St. John's on the provinces' east coast, she moved to the west coast following graduation and began work at the Animal Health Centre.
Currently residing in Corner Brook, Dr. Osmond lives with her grey hound (David Palmer) and her two cats (Lucy and Pippa). Dr. Osmond is an avid horseback rider and can often be found on the trails with Jazz, her Clydesdale Cross.
Dr. Osmond can most often be found in the surgery room, where she is in her element.
She has a love of all animals, but cats hold a special place in her heart. She also works with rescue organizations in the area.
During her downtime, she can be found outside, taking part in one of the many activities she enjoys, such as hiking, kayaking and snow shoeing, or she can be found at the barn. She also has a green thumb, and grows many vegetables in her garden.
