​Animal Health Centre is currently seeking a dependable and motivated veterinary kennel attendant to join our health care team.

                       Key Responsibilities:
>Animal Care
-Feed, water, exercise, and socialize boarding and hospitalized animals.
-Ensure patients are comfortable and that their daily needs are met.
-Safely restrain and handle animals of varying species, sizes and temperaments.
-Observe animal behaviour for signs signs of stress, illness or injury.
-Communicate observations promptly to veterinary technicians and veterinarians.
>Sanitation
-Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs and common areas.
-Maintain a safe and sanitary hospital environment.
-Perform laundry and stock inventory.
-Clean and sterilize surgical and dental instrument packs.

                        Qualifications:
-Previous experience in a veterinary clinic preferred but not required.
-Genuine passion for working with animals.
-Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
-Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
-Attention to detail.
