Veterinary Assistant
The Animal Health Centre is currently welcoming a full-time reliable and compassionate veterinary assistant. Successful candidate must be very organized, able to work well as part of a team and have a very keen eye for attention to detail. We have a supportive mentorship program and offer opportunities for career growth.
Some of the responsibilities for our veterinary assistants include:
-Assist veterinarians and support staff with various tasks and treatments.
-Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and clients.
-General house keeping duties and maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic.
-Dedication to continual learning.
-Client communication services.
-After hours emergency on-call services.
-Monitoring and recovering patients.
-Filling prescriptions and handling inventory.
-Stocking shelves.
